5:17-48
|
. . . . .fulfil prophets - Ye heard.. but I say .
|
17
Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets; I
cam not to destroy but to fulfil. 18 For truly I
say to you, until pass away the heaven and the earth, iota one or one point
by no means shall pass away from the law, until all things come to pass 19
Whoever therefore breaks one commandment of these the least and teaches
thus men, least he shall be called in the kingdom of the heavens, but
whoever does and teaches this (one) great shall be called in the kingdom of
the heavens. 20 For I tell you that except shall exceed of you the
righteousness more than that of the scribes and the Pharisees by no means
shall ye enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 21 Ye heard that it
was said to the ancients: Thou shalt not kill: and whoever kills, liable
shall be to the judgment. 22 But I tell you that everyone being
angry with the brother of him liable shall be to the judgment; and whoever
says to the brother of him. Raca liable shall be to the council; and
whoever says Fool, liable shall be to the Gehenna of fire. 23 Therefore if
thou bringest the gift of thee to the alter and there rememberest that the
brother of thee has something against thee 24 leave there the gift of thee
before the alter and go first be reconciled to the brother of thee and then
coming offer the gift of thee. 25 Be well disposed to the opponent of the
quickly while thou art with him in the way; lest thee deliver the opponent
to the judge and the judge to the attendant, and into prison thou be cast;
26 truly I say to thee, by no means shalt thou come out thence until thou
repayest the last farthing. 27 Ye heard that it was said: Thou shalt
not commit adultery. 28 But I tell you that everyone seeing a woman
with a view to desire her already committed adultery with her in the heart
of him. 29 So if the eye of thee right causes to stumble thee, pluck out it
and cast from thee; for it is expedient for thee that perish one of the
members of thee and not all the body of thee be cast into gehenna. 30 And
if the right of thee hand causes to stumble thee, cut out it and cast from
thee;
|
for
it is expedient for thee that perish one of the members of thee and not all
the body of thee into gehenna go away. 31 And it was said: Whoever
dismisses the wife of him, let him give her a bill of divorce. 32 But I
tell you that everyone dismissing the wife of him apart from a matter
of fornication makes her to commit adultery, and whoever a dismissed
(woman) marries commits adultery. 33 Again ye heard that it was said
to the ancients: Thou shalt not perjure, shalt repay but to the Lord the
oaths of thee. 34 But I tell you not to swear at all: neither by the
heaven, because the throne it is of God: 35 nor by the earth, because
footstool it is of the feet of him: nor by Jerusalem, because city it is of
the great king: 36 nor by the head of thee swear, because thou canst not
one hair white to make or black. 37 let be But the word of you Yes yes, No no:
for the excess of these of evil is. 38 Ye heard that I was said: an
eye instead of an eye and a tooth instead of a tooth. 39 But I tell you
not to oppose evil; but who thee strikes on the right cheek of thee, turn
to him also the other: 40 and to the one wishing thee to judge and the
tunic of thee to take allow him also the outer garment; 41 and who thee
shall impress mile one, go with him two 42 To the one asking thee give, and
the one wishing from thee to borrow turn not away. 43 Ye heard that
it was said: Thou shalt love the neighbour of thee and thou shalt hate the
enemy of thee. 44 I But tell you: Love ye the enemies of you and
pray ye for the ones persecuting you; 45 so that ye may become sons of the
Father of you in heavens, because the sun of him he makes to rise on evil
men and good and rains on just men and unjust. 46 For if ye love the ones
loving you, what reward have ye? not even the tax-collectors the same do;
47 and if ye greet the brothers of you only, what excess do ye? not even
the gentiles the same do; 48 Be therefore ye perfect as the Father of you
heavenly perfect is.

4. . . . Show
|
6:1-18
|
. . . .Heed
righteousness but not with a view to be seen . .
|
6:1
And take ye heed the
righteousness of you not to do in front of men with a view to be seen by
them; otherwise, reward ye have not with the Father of you in the
heavens. 2 When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee,
as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may
be glorified by men; truly I tell you, they have the reward of them. 3 But
thee doing alms not let know the left hand of thee what does the right of
thee, 4 so that may be of thee the alms in secret; and the Father of thee
the one seeing in secret will repay thee. 5 And when ye pray, be not ye as
the hypocrites; because they love in the synagogues and in the corners of
the open streets standing to pray, so that they may appear to men; truly I
tell you, they have the reward of them. 6 thou But when prayers, enter into
the private room of thee and having shut the door of thee pray to the
Father of thee the one in secret: and the father of thee the one seeing in
the secret will repay thee. 7 But praying do not utter words as the
gentiles for they think that in
|
the
much speaking of them they will be heard 8 Not therefore be ye like them;
for knows God the Father of you of what thins need ye have before you to
ask him. 9 us therefore pray ye: Father of us the one in the heavens; Let
it be hallowed the name of thee; 10 let it come the kingdom of thee; let it
come about the will of thee, as in heaven also on earth; 11 The bread of us
daily give to us today. 12 and forgive us the debts of us, as indeed we
forgave the debtors of us. 13 and not bring us into temptation, but rescue
us from evil. 14 For if ye forgive men the trespasses of them, will forgive
also you the Father of you heavenly; 15 but if ye forgive not men, neither
the Father of you will forgive the trespasses of you. 16 And when ye fast
be not as the hypocrites gloomy for they disfigure the faces of them so
that they may appear to men fasting: truly I tell you, they have the reward
of them. 17 But thou fasting anoint of thee the head and the face of thee
wash, 18 so that thou appearest not t men fasting but to the Father of thee
the one in secret; and the Father of thee the one seeing in secret will
repay thee.

5. . . . Treasure
|
6:19-34
|
. . . . . Do
not lay up treasure .
|
|
19
Do not lay up treasure for you treasures on the earth, where moth
and rust removes, and where thieves dig through and steal ; 20 but lay
treasure for you treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust removes,
and where thieves do not dig through nor steal; 21 where for is the
treasure of thee, there will b also the heart of thee. 22 The lamp of the
body is the eye, If therefore be the eye of thee sing, all the body of thee
singing will be; 23 but if the eye of thee evil be, all the body of thee
dark will be. If therefore the light in thee darkness is, the darkness is,
the darkness how great. 24 No one can two lords to serve; for either the
one he will hate and the other he will love, or one he will hold and the
other he will despise. Ye cannot God to serve and mammon. 25 Therefore I
say to you: be not anxious for the life of you what ye may eat or what ye
may drink nor for the body of you, what ye my put on, not the life more is
than the food and the body than the raiment? 26 Look ye at the
|
birds
of heaven that they sow not nor reap nor gather into barns and the Father
of you heavenly feeds them; do not ye more excel them? 27 But who of you
being anxious can to add to the stature of him cubit one? 28 and concerning
clothing why be ye anxious? consider the lilies of the field, now they
grow: they labour not nor spin 29 but I tell you that not Solomon in all
the glory of him was clothed as one of these. 30 But if the grass of the
field today being and tomorrow into an oven being thrown the God thus
clothes, not much more you, little-faiths? 31 Therefore be ye not anxious
saying; What may we eat? or: What may we drink? or What may we put on? 32
all for these things the nations seek after; knows for the Father of you
heavenly that ye need these things of all. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom
and the righteousness of him, and these things all shall be added to you.
34 Therefore be ye not anxious for the morrow, for the morrow will be
anxious of itself; sufficient to the day the evil of it.

6. . . . Judging
|
7:1-12
|
. . . .
Judge not
|
|
Ch
7 Judge not, lest ye be judged; 2 with what for
judgement ye judge ye shall be judged, and with what measure ye measure it
shall ye measured to you. 3 And why seest thou the chip in the eye of the
brother of thee, the but in thine eye beam thou considers not? 4 or how wilt
thou say to the brother of thee; Allow that I may pluck out the chip out of
the eye of thee, and behold the beam in the eye of thee? 5 Hypocrite, pluck
out first out of the eye of thee the beam, and then thou wilt see clearly
to pluck out the chip out of the eye of the brother of thee. 6 not Give the
holy to the dogs, neither cast the pearls of you before the pigs, lest they
will trample them with the feet of them and turning may rend you.
|
7.
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it
shall be opened to you. 8 For every asking one a receives, and the one
seeking finds, and to the knocking one it shall be opened. 9 Or what is
there of you man, whom will ask the son of him a loaf, not a stone he will
give him? 10 or also a fish he will ask, not a serpent he will give him? 11
If therefore ye evil being know gifts good to give to the children of you,
how much more the Father of you in the heavens will give good things to the
ones asking him. 12 All things therefore as may soever as ye wish that may
do to you men, thus also ye do to them: this for is the law and the
prophets.
|
7. . . . The easy
|
7:13-23
|
. . . . Enter ye
through the narrow gate
|
7:13
Enter ye in through the narrow gate; because wide the
gate and broad the way leading to destruction and many are the ones going
in through is: 14 because strait the gate and made narrow the way leading
away to life and few are the ones finding it. 15 Beware from the false
prophets who come to you in clothes of sheep but within are wolves greedy.
16 From the fruits of them ye will know them. They do not gather from
thorns grapes or from thistles figs? 17 So every tree good fruits good
produces but the corrupt tree fruits evil produces. 18 Cannot tree is good
fruits evil to bear nor tree a corrupt fruits good to bear. 19 Every tree
not producing fruit good is cut down and into fire is cast. 20 Therefore
from the fruits of them ye will know them. 21 Not everyone saying to me
Lord Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing
the will of the Father f me in the heavens. 22 Many will
|
say
to me in that day Lord, Lord not in thy name we prophesied and in thy name
demons we expelled and in thy name mighty works many did 23 and then I will
declare to them Never I knew you; depart from me the ones working the
lawlessness. 24 Everyone therefore who hears of me words these and
does them shall be likened man to a prudent, who built of him the
house on the rock. 25 And came down the rain and came the rivers and blew
the wind sand fell against the house that, and not it fell; for it had been
founded on the rock. 2 And everyone hearing of me words these and not doing
them shall be likened man to a foolish, who built of him the house on the
sand. 27 And came down the rain and came the rivers and blew the winds and
beat against the house that, and it fell, and was the fall it great.
|
28
And it came to pass when finished Jesus words these, were astounded the
crowds at the teaching of him; 29 for he was teaching them as authority
having, and not as the scribes of them.
