1.         Ask for help

8:1-4

. . . Leper

8:1 And coming down him from the mountain followed him crowds many. 2 And behold a leper approaching worshipped him saying: Lord, if thou art willing thou art able me to cleanse. 3 And stretching out the hand he touched him saying:  I am willing, be thou cleansed

And immediately was cleansed of him the leprosy. 4 And says to him Jesus: See to no one thou tellest, but go thyself show to the priest and offer the gift which commanded Moses, for a testimony to them.

2          Recognise authority

8:5-13

. . . Centurion

8:5 And entering him into Capernaum, approached to him a centurion beseeching him 6 and saying: Lord, the boy of me has been laid aside in the house a paralytic, terribly being tortured. 7 He says to him; I coming will heal him. 8 answering but the centurion said: Lord I am not worthy that of me under the roof thou mayest enter; but only say in a word, and will be healed the boy of me. 9 also for I a man am under authority , having under myself soldiers and I say to this: Go and he goes and to another; Come and he comes, and to the slave of me;

Do this and he does it. 10 And hearing Jesus marvelled and said to the ones following: Truly I tell you, from no one such faith in Israel I found. 11 And I tell you the many from east and west will come and will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens; 12 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the darkness outer there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth. 13 and said Jesus to the centurion; Go as thou believes let it be to thee and was healed the boy in hour that.
