. . . Herd of pigs drowned

 

8:28 And coming him to the other side into the country of the Geradenes met him two demon-possessed out of the tombs coming out, dangerous exceedingly so as not to be able anyone to pass through way that. 29 And behold they cried out saying What to us and to thee, Son of God, camest thou here before the time to torture us. 30 there was now far off from them a herd of pigs of many feeding. 31 And the demons besought him saying; If thou expellest us, send us into the herd of the

pigs. 32 And he said to them; Go ye. So the coming out went away into the pigs; and behold rushed all the herd down the precipice into the sea and died in the waters. 33 the But feeding ones fled and going away into the city reported all things and the things of the demon-possessed ones. 34 And behold all the city came out with a view to a meeting with Jesus and seeing him besought so that he might remove from the borders of them.

 

 

11.       Forgive

9:1-8

. . . Paralytic forgiven

 

9:1 And embarking in a ship he crossed over and came into the(his) own city.  2 And behold they brought to him a paralytic on a mattress having been laid.  And seeing Jesus the faith of them said to the paralytic: Be of good cheer, child, are forgiven of thee the sins.  3 And behold some of the scribes said among themselves: This (man) blasphemes.  4 And knowing Jesus the thoughts of them said:

Why think ye evil things in the hearts of you? 5 for which is easier to say: Rise and walk? 6 But in order that ye may know that authority has the Son of man n the earth to forgive sins - then he says to the paralytic: Rise, take of thee the mattress and go to the house of thee.  7 And rising he went away to the house of him. 8. But seeing the crowds feared and glorified God the (one) giving authority such to man.

 

12        Entrust

9: 9-13

9:9 And passing by Jesus thence saw a man sitting at the custom house.  Matthew named, and says to him.  Follow me.  And rising up he followed him.  10 And it came to pass him reclining in the house, and behold many tax-collectors and sinners coming reclined at table with Jesus and the disciples of him.  11 And seeing the Pharisees said to the disciples of him: 

Why with tax-collectors and sinners eats the teacher of you?  12 But he hearing said: Not need have the (ones) being strong of a physician but the (ones) who are ill  13 But going learn ye what it is: Mercy I desire and not sacrifice: not for I came to call the righteous (people) but sinners.
