12:38 Then answered him some of the scribes and
Pharisees sang Teacher we wish from thee a sign to see. 39 But he answering
said to them; generation an evil and adulterous a sign seeks, and a sign
shall not be given to it except the sign of Jonas the prophet. 40 For as
was Jonas in the belly of the sea monster three days and three nights, so
will be the Son of man in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.
41 Men Ninevites will stand up in the judgment with the generation this and
will condemn it; because they repented at the proclamation of Jonas, and
behold a greater thing than Jonas here. 42 The queen of the south will be
raised in the judgment with the

this and will condemn it; because she came out of the limits of the earth
to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold a greater thing than Solomon
is here. 43 Now when the unclean spirit goes out from a man he goes
through dry places seeking rest and finds not 45 Then he says. Into the
house of me I will return whence I came out. And coming he finds (it) empty and having
been swept and having been furnished. 45 Then he goes and takes with
himself seven other spirits more evil than himself and entering dwells
there; and becomes the last things man of that worse than the first. Thus
it will be also the generation to this the evil.
