Wedding Feast

Ch 22:1 And answering Jesus again spoke in parables to them saying 2 Was likened the kingdom of the heavens to a man a king who made a wedding feast for the son of him. 3 And he sent the slaves of him to call the ones having been invited to the feast, and they wished not to come. 4 Again he sent other slaves saying Tell the ones having been invited; Behold the supper of me I have prepared, the oxen of me and the fatted beasts having been killed, and all things are ready; come to the feast. 5 But they not caring went off, one to the own field, another on the trading of him; 6 and the rest seizing the slaves of him insulted and killed. 7 So the king became angry and sending the armies of him destroyed murderers those and the city of them

burned.8 Then he says to the slaves of him: Indeed the feast ready is, but the ones have in been invited were not worthy; 9 go ye therefore onto the partings of the ways, and as many as ye find call to the feast. 10 And going forth slaves those into the ways assembled all whom they found, both bad and good; and was filled the wedding chamber of (with) reclining ones. 11 But entering the king to behold the reclining ones he saw there a man not having been dressed dress of wedding 12 and he says to him: Comrade, how enteredst thou here not having a dress of wedding and he was silenced. 13 Then the king said to the servants; Binding of him feet and hands throw out him into the darkness outer: there will be the wailing and the gnashing o the teeth. 14 For many are called, but few chosen.

Pharisee disciples, Herodians & Caesar's coin

22:15 Then going the Pharisees counsel took so as him they might ensnare in a word. 16 And they send to him the disciples of them with the Herodians saying: Teacher, we know that truthful thou art and the way of God in truth thou teachest, and not it concerns to thee about no one not for thou lookest to face of men; 17 tell therefore us, what to thee seems it? is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or no? 18 But

knowing Jesus the wickedness of them said: Why me tempt ye, hypocrites? 19 show me the money of the tribute. And they brought to him a denarius. 20 And he says to them: Of whom image this and superscription? 21 They say: Of Caesar. Then he says to them: Render then the things of Caesar to Caesar and the things of God to God. 22 And hearing they marvelled, and leaving him went away.
