And Jesus being in Bethany
in the house of Simon the leper, 7 approached to him a woman having an
alabaster phial of ointment very expensive and poured it on the head of him
reclining. 8 And seeing the disciples were angry saying To what
waste this 9 for could this to be sold
of much and to be given to poor. 10 And knowing Jesus said to them: Why
trouble ye the woman for work a good she wrought to me; 1 for always the
poor ye have with yourselves, but me not always ye have

for putting this woman ointment this on the body of me for to bury me she
did. 13 Truly I tell you, wherever is proclaimed gospel this in all the
world, will be spoken also what did this woman for a memorial of her. 14
Then going one of the twelve the one named Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests 15 he said: What are ye willing me to
give, and I to you will deliver him? And they weighed him thirty pieces of
silver 16 And from then he sought opportunity that him he might deliver.
