11:1
And it came to pass to be him in a certain place praying, as he ceased,
said a certain one of the disciples of him to him: Lord, teach us to
pray, even as also John taught the disciples of him. 2 And he said to them:
When ye pray, say: Father let be hallowed the name of thee: let come the
kingdom of thee: 3 the bread of us belonging to the morrow give us each
day. 4. and forgive us the sins of us, for indeed ourselves we forgive
everyone owing to us; and lead no us into temptation. 5. And he said to
them: Who of you shall have a friend, and will come to him at midnight and say to him: Friend,
lend me three loaves. 6 since a friend of me arrived off a journey to me
and I have not what I may set before him; 7 and that one with on answering
may say: Not me troubles cause: now the door has been shut and the children
of me with me in the bed are: I cannot rising up to give thee.

8.
I tell you, if even he will not give him rising up on account of the to be
friend of him, yet on account of the importunity of him rising he will give
him as many as he needs. 9. And I you tell ask, and it will be given you;
seek and ye will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone
asking receives and the one seeking finds, and to the one knocking it
will be opened. 11 And what of you father is there of whom will ask the son
a fish, not instead of a fish a serpent to him will hand? 12 or even he
will ask an egg, will hand to him a scorpion? 13 If therefore ye evil being
know gifts good to give to the children of you, how much more the Father of
heaven will given spirit Holy to the ones asking him.
