"forgive seventy
times seven"
|
17:1
And he said to the disciples of him: Impossible it is the offences
not to come, but woe to him through whom they come; 2. It profits him if a
millstone is put round the neck of him and he has been thrown into the sea,
than that he should offend little of these one. 3 Take heed to yourselves.
If sins the brother of thee, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4
And if seven times of in the day he sins against thee and seven times
turns to thee saying: I repent, thou shalt forgive him. 5 And said the
apostles to the Lord: Add to us faith. 6 And said the Lord: If ye have
faith as a grain of mustard,

ye
would have said - sycamine-tree to this: Be thou uprooted and be thou
planted in the sea; and it would have obeyed you. 7 who But of you a slave
having ploughing or herding. who on his coming out of the farm will say to
him: Immediately going up recline 8 but will not say to him: Prepare
something I may dine, and having girded thyself serve me until I eat and
drink, and after these things eat and drink thou? 9 Not he has thanks to
the slave because he did the things commanded? 10 So also ye, when ye do
all the things commanded you, say, Slaves unprofitable we are, what we
ought to do we have done.

"but where the
nine?"
|
17:11
And it came to pass as he went to go to Jerusalem, and he passed through
the midst of Samaria and Galilee 12 And entering him into a certain village
met him ten leprous men, who stood afar off. 13 and they lifted
voice saying Jesus Master pity us. 14 And seeing he said to them: Going
show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass as they went in to the
to go

them
they were cleansed. 15 But one of them, seeing that he was cured, returned
with voice a great glorifying God and fell on his face at the feet of him
thanking him; and he was a Samaritan. 17 and answering Jesus said: Not the
ten were cleansed? but the nine where? 18 were there not found
returning to give glory to God only stranger this? 19 And he said to him:
Rising up go the faith of thee has healed thee.

within you"

20 And being questioned by the Pharisees when comes the kingdom of God
he answered them and said: Comes not the kingdom

observation 21 nor will they say: Behold here or: there: behold for the kingdom of God within you is.

17:
22 And he said to the disciples Will come days when ye will long one
of the days of the Son of man to see and will not see. 23 And they will say
to you: Behold there, behold here; do not go away nor flow. 24 For as the
lightning flashing out of the one part under heaven to the other part under
heaven shines, so will be the Son of man in the day of him. 25 But first it
behoves him many things to suffer, and to be rejected from generation this.
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the
Son of man; 27 they were eating, drinking, marrying, giving in marriage,
until which day entered Noah into the ark, and came the flood and destroyed
all. 28 Likewise as it was in the days of Lot
they were eating drinking, buying, selling, planting, building: 29 but on
which day
|
went
forth Lot from Sodom,
it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed all. 30 According to
the same things it will be in which day the Son of man is revealed. 31 In
that day who will be on the roof and the goods of him in the house, let him
not come down to take them, and the one in a field likewise not let him
turn back to the things behind. 32 Remember the wife of Lot.
33 Whoever seeks the life of him to preserve, he will lose it, and whoever
will lose, will preserve it. 34 I tell you in this night there will be two
men on couch one, the one will be taken and the other will be left 35
there will be two women grinding together; the one will be taken but the
other will be left. 37 And answering they say to him. Where Lord? And he
said to them: Where the body, there also the eagles will be gathered
together.

18:1
And he told a parable them to they must always pray and not faint..
them and not to faint 2 saying; judge a certain there was a certain city
God not fearing and man not regarding. 3 And a widow there was in city
that, and she came to him saying: Vindicate me from the opponent of me. 4
And he would not for a time: but after these things he said in himself If
indeed God I fear not nor man regard, 5 at least because to cause me
trouble widow this I will vindicate her, lest in the end coming she
exhausts me. 6 And said the Lord: Hear ye what the Judge of unrighteousness
says; 7 and God by no means will he make the vindication of the chosen ones
of him crying
|
to
him day and night, and be patient over them? 8 I tell you that he will make
the vindication of them quickly. Nevertheless the Son of man coming then
will he find the faith on the earth? nor man regard, 5 at least because to
cause me trouble widow this I will vindicate her, lest in the end coming
she exhausts me. 6 And said the Lord: Hear ye what the Judge of
unrighteousness says; 7 and God by no means will he make the vindication of
the chosen ones of him crying to him day and night, and be patient over
them? 8 I tell you that he will make the vindication of them quickly.
Nevertheless the Son of man coming then will he find the faith on the
earth?

And he said also to some the ones relying on themselves that they
are righteous and despising the rest parable this. 10 Men two went up to
the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax-collector.
The Pharisee standing these things to himself prayed; God, I thank thee
that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as
this tax-collector: 12 I fast twice of
|
in
the week, I tithe all things how many I get. 13 But the tax-collector far
off standing would not even the eyes to lift up to the heaven, but smote
the breast of him saying God be propitious to me the sinner. 14 I tell you
went down this man having been justified to the house of him rather than
that one; because everyone exalting himself will be humbled, and the one
humbling himself will be exalted.

called to him them saying: Allow the

17 Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God
as a child, by no means enters into it.

18:18 And questioned a certain him ruler saying:
Teacher good, what doing life eternal may I inherit? 19 And said to him
Jesus: Why me sayest thou good? no one is good except on, God. 20 The
commandments thou knowest: Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not
steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour the father of thee and the mother.
21 And he said All these things I kept from youth. 22 But hearing Jesus
said to him: Yet one thing to thee is lacking:all things how
|
many thou hast sell and distribute to poor people, and thou wilt have treasure in heavens, and
come follow me. 23 But he hearing these things very grieved became, for
he was rich exceedingly, 24 And seeing him Jesus said: How hardly the ones
property having into the kingdom of God go in. 25 easier for it is for a
camel through the eye of a needle to enter than a rich man into the kingdom
of God to enter.
