And hearing them these things adding he told a parable, because of the near
to be Jerusalem him and to think them that
at once was about the kingdom
of God to appear. 12 he
said therefore: A certain man well born went to country a far to
receive for himself a kingdom and to return 13 having called and ten slaves
of himself he gave them ten minae and said to them Trade you while I am
coming. 14 But the citizens of him hated him, and sent a delegation after
him saying: We do not wish this man to reign over us. 15 And it came to
pass in the to return him having received the kingdom and he said to be
called to him slaves these to whom he had given the money, that he might
know anyone what gained by trading. 16 and came the first saying:
Lord the mina of thee ten gained minas. 17 And he said to him: Well, good
slave, because in a least thing faithful thou wast, be thou authority
having over ten cities. 18 and came the second saying: The mina of thee,

and he said also to this one: and thou over be five cities. 20 and the
other came saying: Lord, behold the mina of thee, which I had being put
away in a napkin; 21 for I feared thee because man an exacting thou art,
thou takest what thou didst not lay, and thou repast what thou didst not
sow. 22 He says to him: Out of the mouth of thee I will judge thee, wicked
slave. Knewest thou that I man an exacting am, taking what not I laid, and
reaping what I sowed not? 23 and why didst thou not have of me the money on
a table? And I coming with interest it would have exacted. 24 and to the
ones standing by he said: Take from him the mina and give to the one the
ten minas having. 25 and they said to him: Lord he has ten minas. 26 I tell
you that to everyone having it will be given, and from the one not
having even what he has will be taken. 27 Nevertheless enemies of me these
the ones not wishing me to reign over them bring ye here and slay them
before me.
